This page explains how Moneykind uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies. Moneykind is a financial introductions service.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that websites can place on your device. Websites can also use browser storage, such as local storage, to remember information. Some technologies are necessary for a website to function; others are used for analytics, personalisation or advertising.
Cookies and technologies used by Moneykind
| Technology | Purpose | Current understanding |
|---|---|---|
mk-cookie-choice (local storage) | Remembers the cookie preference selected in the website's consent interface. | The homepage stores your preference as “all” or “essential” in local storage, until you change it or clear browser storage. |
| Google Fonts | Loads the DM Sans and Manrope typefaces used by this page. | This page requests stylesheets from Google. Those requests may disclose technical information such as IP address to the provider; this is not a claim that Google Fonts necessarily sets a cookie. |
| Hosting and security technologies | May support delivery, protection and operation of the website. | Hostinger hosts the website. Any cookies or similar identifiers set by the live hosting/security configuration remain to be audited. |
| Analytics or advertising technologies | Would measure visits or support advertising if introduced. | The homepage uses consent-gated Google Tag Manager for optional analytics. It is loaded only after you select “Accept analytics”. You can choose “Reject optional” instead. The precise cookies used can depend on the tags configured in Google Tag Manager. |
Essential and optional technologies
Some storage may be strictly necessary to provide a service you request or remember a privacy choice. Where UK law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we must obtain that consent before using them. Rejecting optional technologies should be as easy as accepting them.
Submitting an enquiry and consenting to share it with a professional are separate from agreeing to optional cookies. Marketing communications also require their own appropriate permission or other lawful basis.
Manage your preferences
If the Moneykind homepage provides a Cookie settings control, you can use it to revisit your choices. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing your browser storage may cause the website to ask for your preferences again.
The homepage footer includes a “Cookie settings” control to revisit your choice. This policy page does not itself change cookie consent.
Third-party services
Third-party providers may process technical data when their resources are loaded. Our use of Google Fonts and website hosting should be considered alongside our Privacy Policy. If analytics, advertising, embedded videos or other third-party features are added, this policy and the website's consent controls must be updated before those features are activated where consent is required.
